There is 2 major update for Exchange Server product, Exchange 2010 SP3 RU5 and Exchange 2013 SP1 ! Open-mouthed smile

  • Update Rollup 5 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 3 (SP3) resolves issues that were found in Exchange Server 2010 SP3 RU3 since the software was released. This update rollup is highly recommended for all Exchange Server 2010 SP3 customers. For a list of changes that are included in this update rollup, see KB2917508.
  • meanwhile for Exchange Server 2013 SP1, its officially support for Windows Server 2012 R2 and Edge Transport is in the house !

I just now yesterday when I was preparing Exchange Server 2010 environment for my customer that when you install any role in Exchange Server 2010 and try to look into the EMC from other server you will have new server with role Provisioned Smile


After the installation finish, of course it will change depend on the role you installed.
